A symbol can mean a lot - depending on what it stands for.  First National Bank adopted this symbol in 1972; then and now, it reflects our spirit of service that’s backed by more than 100 years of banking experience.  Our symbol begins with “1st” signifying our determination to always be 1st in service, 1st in experience, and 1st in future planning for our customers in the Lamar and Pike County areas.  Look closely at the symbol for the Soaring Eagle which represents 100+ years of banking tradition to our community, the vision and strength we Americans have worked hard to achieve.  The Eagle also embodies our willingness to reach out and serve all people.  Notice that the “1st” and the Eagle are joined to form the letter “B” for Barnesville.  That “B” is easily recognized and has come to characterize the tremendous warmth and civic pride our local ownership has for our community.  Yet, more important is what is actually behind the symbol.  It’s what we want to show you every time you visit our bank - the best in modern financial services performed by exceptional people who believe in a good, old-fashioned welcome.
